What Mezgeb is
Mezgeb is a personal expense tracker for Ethiopia. It records what you enter, what you import from statements and, if you choose, what your bank messages say. It is not a bank, a wallet or a financial adviser.
Your records are yours
Everything you record belongs to you. You can export your records at any time and you can delete your account and its backup whenever you want.
Your account
Signing in with Google creates a Mezgeb cloud identity used for backup, restore and Tsehafi statement reading. Keep your Google account secure. If you forget your app PIN, you reset it by signing in again with the linked Google account; your records are not lost.
Services we rely on
Supabase hosts sign-in and cloud backups. Google provides sign-in and, when you opt in, reads statements through the Gemini API under paid terms that do not allow training on your documents.
No advice, no warranty
Figures in Mezgeb come from what you and your documents provide and may contain errors. Mezgeb is provided as is, without warranty, and is not financial, tax or legal advice. Always check important decisions against your bank.
Changes, law and contact
